This book staircase debit card skin is a staircase built entirely out of books, curving up through clouds into a pink and violet sky with one small star at the top. It goes somewhere. It doesn't say where.
My debit card used to be the most boring thing I owned. Gray. A bank logo. Something I'd fish out of the bottom of my bag without ever really looking at it.
And I have a stack of unread books by my bed that has become structural. I've started calling it emotional support furniture. This card is what I'd like to believe that pile is actually for.
So I made this one, and it's probably the prettiest thing in my shop. It's the card I actually like handing over anywhere.
Here's what I love about it:
The sky colors are unreal in person. Pink into lavender into blue.
It's the design people photograph and send to a friend.
It's for the reader whose TBR has become a load-bearing structure.
The Sparkle finish across that sky is the version I'd pick myself.
It takes about thirty seconds to put on. That's the whole commitment.
The details:
Standard card size, 3.375" x 2.125" — fits debit, credit, gift cards, hotel keys, transit cards, gym cards, library cards, student IDs, and work badges
Chip cutout is already cut, so tap and insert work exactly like normal
Printed on durable waterproof vinyl — choose Standard for a smooth finish, or Sparkle for the full holographic glitter effect
Works as a credit card sticker too, and there's no bubbling or peeling at the corners
Printed and packed by me in Roseville, California
A few things I always get asked: it peels off clean with no sticky residue, so your card underneath stays fine. The chip and tap read normally through the cutout. And it holds up to real wallet life — swiping, pockets, getting tossed in a bag with keys and three pens.
I rotate designs seasonally, and once a design retires I usually don't bring it back. This one is part of my current lineup, so if it's calling to you, now's the time.
Add it to your cart and give your card the upgrade it's been waiting for. And if you'd like a matching book stack sticker for your Kindle, just message me. I love a matching set.
