This sailing book debit card skin is an open book whose pages have turned into the sails of a ship, cutting across a bright blue sea. It's the most literal picture of what reading does that I've ever managed to put on a card.
My debit card used to be the most boring thing I owned. Gray. A bank logo. Something I'd fish out of the bottom of my bag without ever really looking at it.
And I wanted one card that explained the whole thing without a quote on it. No text. No slogan. Just a book that turned into somewhere else.
So I made this one. It's the card I actually like handing over, and it's the one people ask me about most at the register.
Here's what I love about it:
The blue is bright enough that you spot it instantly in a dark wallet.
It says reader without a single word printed on it.
It's for the person who has genuinely lost a weekend to a book.
The Sparkle finish makes the water look like it's moving.
It takes about thirty seconds to put on. That's the whole commitment.
The details:
Standard card size, 3.375" x 2.125" — fits debit, credit, gift cards, hotel keys, transit cards, gym cards, library cards, student IDs, and work badges
Chip cutout is already cut, so tap and insert work exactly like normal
Printed on durable waterproof vinyl — choose Standard for a smooth finish, or Sparkle for the full holographic glitter effect
Works as a credit card sticker too, and there's no bubbling or peeling at the corners
Printed and packed by me in Roseville, California
A few things I always get asked: it peels off clean with no sticky residue, so your card underneath stays fine. The chip and tap read normally through the cutout. And it holds up to real wallet life — swiping, pockets, getting tossed in a bag with keys and three pens.
I rotate designs seasonally, and once a design retires I usually don't bring it back. This one is part of my current lineup, so if it's calling to you, now's the time.
Add it to your cart and give your card the upgrade it's been waiting for. And if you'd like a matching sailing book sticker for your Kindle, just message me. I love a matching set.
